OVERVIEW
A collection of bookmarks showcasing the timeline of the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and commemorating its centennial anniversary.
We present glimpses of Indian Institute of Science (IISc) through a set of bookmarks that re-emphasise the concept of 'Ecological Relationships' which is ubiquitous in nature. The design process involved thorough research in which at the first stage, we collected photographs of the diverse flora and fauna within the campus that is spread over 170 hectres. The second stage involved the creation of pencil sketches that encapsulated the varied moods and facets that we had chosen from the photographs. The final stage involved the development of apt copy lines and merging them with the visuals in order to create a broader storyline. The set of bookmarks seeks to present IISc in a capsule and take the viewer on a journey of visual delight.
