A luxury resort in Corbett National Park

– Brochure   |   Stationary    |   Calendar    |    Signages

The discourse of the design is about the origin of the brand,
the place it belongs to and the service it is subjected to deliver.

– The Origin

Mr. Kamal Tripathi, who comes from a family of freedom fighters, had the welfare of the country and community in their hearts. Inspired by such people in his family he always wanted to do something for his community.

Hence he founded the resort, which is highly acclaimed by environmentalists for conservation, employing local people and making investments in recycling projects.

– The Place

Jim Corbett National Park is the oldest national park in India and was established in 1936 as Hailey National Park to protect the endangered Bengal tiger. It is located in Nainital district of Uttarakhand and was named after Jim Corbett who played a key

role in its establishment. The park was the first to come under the

Project Tiger initiative, as described in wikipedia.

– The Resort

A luxurious resort, rated as the best resort in Jim Corbett National Parks. A full-service resort which features a unique set of amenities.

The entire property has been landscaped with forest species and grass to provide extended space to wildlife. One can often see and listen to wildlife from the living rooms and the other areas.

The resort promises numerous adventurous and relaxing activities at offer.

– Idea & Strategy

The idea was rooted in all that Corbett stands for – the diverse flora and fauna around, the lure of the reclusive tiger, the enticement of the mighty elephant; the vision in the visual message of Aahana was developed encompassing the overall habitat of Corbett as home to abundant wildlife and a nature lover’s paradise.

– Design

Minimalistic design with the visual art form.

– CALENDARr

Concept note: The illustration for each month in the calendar corresponds to facts particular to the month of the year:
related to animal behavior or about a certain plant, local to Corbett so as to make it informative and innovative at the same time.
The reverse side of each sheet also contains information on the weather cycle of that month.

March

This month signifies the beginning of spring, the weather becomes more comfortable to be outside.
It is the perfect month to enjoy the serene beauty of nature and experience the abundant joy filling up the forest.
It is the most convenient time for jungle safaris, as the weather is not very cold nor does it become hot.

November

This month signifies the opening of the four zones of Corbett National Park which are open for tourist from 15th November.
This month is most suitable to safaris as the weather is cool. A lot of animal and bird sighting takes place in this month.
The weather significantly drops by the end of the month. The days are very pleasant and the sun shines brightly.
The nights are comparatively cooler and most appropriate to sit outside by the bonfire.
